Android 15 gets a new finger gesture to zoom in on the screen.

Google is making it easier to zoom in on your phone screen with Android 15.

There are already a few ways to do this, but they’re adding a new option that’s quicker and simpler.

Right now, you might have to tap buttons or swipe the screen to zoom in. But with the new update, you’ll just tap the screen twice quickly with two fingers, like you’re doing a double tap to zoom in on a picture. This way is supposed to be more convenient, especially for people who have trouble seeing the screen.

This new zoom feature isn’t available yet, but it’s coming in a future update for Android 15. In addition to making phones easier to use, Google is also working on new features for its Google Photos app. One of these lets you hide certain faces from automatically generated memories.

If there’s someone in your photos you’d rather not see in those slideshows, you can easily hide them without having to delete the pictures themselves. Google Photos is also getting a new one-tap video enhancement feature, but there aren’t many details about that yet.
