Bangladesh Cricket Team Arrives in Pakistan for Two-Test Series

LAHORE – The Bangladesh men’s cricket team arrived in Lahore on Tuesday to play a two-Test series against Pakistan. The team traveled from Dhaka and was escorted to a private hotel under tight security from Allama Iqbal Airport.

According to the updated schedule from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the visiting team will rest today at the hotel and then hold training sessions at Gaddafi Stadium on August 14, 15, and 16.

The team is scheduled to travel to Islamabad on August 17. The first Test will take place in Rawalpindi from August 21, and the second Test will be held in Karachi from August 30 to September 3.

During a recent press conference, Pakistan’s Test captain Shan Masood addressed the team’s previous performance in the T20 World Cup 2024, emphasizing the need to move forward. “What happened in the World Cup is behind us. It’s time to focus on the future,” Masood said.
