Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced major projects for Gujranwala, including a new Metrobus system costing Rs18 billion, a modern cardiac hospital, and a burns unit.
During her visit, she also ordered repairs and construction of city roads and emphasized completing projects like the Nigar Chowk Stadium. Maryam directed improvements in water and sanitation services and introduced initiatives like the ‘Pink Wheel’ project for women’s safety.
She instructed officials to control prices and combat drug trafficking. The CM praised police efforts in stopping illegal activities and discussed local issues with assembly members and PML-N candidates.
