Dubai is getting flying taxis! These will zoom passengers around the city much faster than regular cars.

Dubai is taking a big leap into the future of transportation.

They just signed a deal to develop flying taxis and self-driving cars.

Flying Taxis: Dubai is working with Seoul, South Korea to develop flying taxis. These electric vehicles will take off and land vertically and will be much faster than regular cars. Imagine zipping from Al Marjan Island to Jebel Jais in just 20 minutes, instead of the usual 70-minute drive!

Self-Driving Cars: Dubai is also looking into self-driving cars, which could revolutionize transportation in the city.

Eco-Friendly Focus: This whole project isn’t just about speed. Dubai wants to make its transportation system cleaner. They’re planning to use electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles for both flying taxis and buses. This will help reduce pollution in the city.

New Infrastructure: To make flying taxis work, Dubai needs special landing and take-off spots. They’re partnering with a company called Skyports to build these “vertiports” in key locations around the city.
