During an exclusive interview with Samaa TV, Rehman stated that the PTI leaders have been welcomed by him. However, he added that he is not aware of the agenda that they will be discussing.
According to reports, a delegation led by Barrister Gohar, including Asad Qaiser, Barrister Saif, and Akhund Zada Hussain Ahmed, will meet Rehman tonight.
In a press conference held in Islamabad, Rehman announced that his party will sit in opposition.
He stated that the JUI-F Central Executive Committee (CEC) denounced the election results, ruling out the possibility of forming an alliance with any political party.
Rehman invited PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif to join hands with him in opposition, emphasizing that his party is not subordinate to either the PML-N or PPP.
He pledged that his party will continue to play its role in parliament.
