Found new oil and gas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.

Pakistan’s Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL) has announced positive developments in the country’s energy sector.

Significant new oil and gas reserves have been discovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, specifically the Kohat district.

Initial estimates indicate the well will produce 305 barrels of crude oil and 2.5 million cubic feet of gas daily.

Production from the new well has commenced, with gas already being supplied to Sui Northern Gas Company.

Furthermore, OGDCL reports successful well restoration efforts in Sindh. The installation of modern pumps at eight wells in the Kannada block has revived oil and gas production, with the Kunar 8 wells now yielding 540 barrels of crude oil per day.
