On a Wednesday, Ali Amin Gandapur, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), talked about the legal issues against him, saying they’re untrue.
He warned the federal and Punjab governments to change how they act, or they’ll find it tough to govern.
This happened after a court ordered his arrest for what happened during a riot on May 9 last year. Gandapur and other PTI leaders were asked to appear in court on April 2.
Gandapur mentioned other politicians facing similar issues in Dera Ismail Khan. He told the governments to stop threatening him and others, warning them it would cause problems in running the government.
He said the governments wanted to start fights with KP but they’re trying to stay calm. Gandapur challenged the government to arrest him if they dare.
He told the people not to tolerate bribery from officials and to stand up against it. Gandapur also visited a place for poor children, promising to help them.
He arranged a dinner for the children and gave them gifts.
