During the second week of Ramadan in 2024, Hania Aamir, a well-known actress from TV and movies, was in Dammam, Saudi Arabia for a special event.
While she was there, she decided to go to Makkah to do her first Umrah, which is a religious journey for Muslims.
Early on Saturday, right after she finished her Umrah, Hania shared a bunch of pictures on Instagram. She posted seven photos that showed her getting ready, traveling to Makkah, and visiting the famous Masjid-al-Haram. She wrote a message with her photos saying, “Blessed Friday. Thank God 🤲🏻 Day 11 🌙🤍.”
Hania kept sharing more about her experience in Makkah on the 12th and 13th days of Ramadan. She posted more pictures of her time spent in the Masjid-al-Haram.
A lot of people who follow her on social media, including other actors and actresses, really liked her post and sent her good wishes in the comments. But some people were not so nice and said mean things to her online.
Yashma Gill, who is a close friend of Hania’s and also an actress, felt very moved by Hania’s spiritual trip. She left a comment asking Hania to pray for her and her family. Yashma also said that she had hoped to be with Hania for her first Umrah, but she believes that God has a plan for everyone. She hoped that Hania would see wonderful things in Makkah that would change her life and the way she sees the world, all for the better. Yashma ended her comment by saying how much she loves Hania and how happy she is for her.
