Hayat Manika, who is Bushra Bibi’s son-in-law, has joined PTI.

Mian Hayat Manika, who used to run independently for the PP-193 area, has recently become a member of PTI. This happened during a gathering at Kothi Rao Naseem Hashim.

Hayat Manika is the son of former provincial minister Mian Ata Manik. Another independent candidate from PTI, Rao Umar Hashim, who was running in NA-139 and PP-193, welcomed Hayat Manika to PTI. Rao Umar Hashim even decided to step back from the PP-193 race to support Mian Hayat Maneka. They’ve planned to team up for the 2024 elections.

Mian Hayat Manika is known as the son-in-law of Bushra Bibi, the ex-wife of Khawar Manika, and the wife of PTI founder Imran Khan. The announcement of his joining PTI was made during a ceremony at Rao Naseem Hashim’s house. Rao Umar Hashim mentioned that he would be running for the National Assembly seat NA-139 alongside these alliances.

During the event, PTI District President Riaz Arshad Niazi, a lawyer, and many supporters were present. Niazi mentioned ongoing discussions with Rao Umar Hashim and Mian Hayat Manika about joining PTI.

It’s interesting to note that Mian Hayat Manika ran for election in 2018 in the same constituency but didn’t win. Now, he’s contesting against Farooq Manika, the PMLN ticket holder and the brother of PMLN National Assembly candidate Mian Raza Manika. The political landscape in the area is certainly heating up with these new developments.
