How much money does Maryam Nawaz have? Here are the details.

Maryam Nawaz, the Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has assets valued at over Rs842.58 million, according to a report by Geo News on Thursday.

As per the information provided by Maryam Nawaz in her nomination papers for the NA-119 constituency, she owns more than 1500 Kanal of land in Lahore. The details indicate that her assets increased by just over Rs4 million in a year.

According to the documents, Maryam has a Master’s degree in English Literature. Interestingly, she does not own any vehicles, and she has a debt of over Rs28.9 million to her brother, Hassan Nawaz.

In her submission, Maryam stated that she possesses gold worth Rs1.75 million and has over Rs10 million in various bank accounts. Additionally, she mentioned having shares worth Rs12.2 million in different companies.

On December 30, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) approved Maryam’s nomination papers for various constituencies. A spokesperson for Maryam mentioned that her papers for multiple Lahore and Sargodha constituencies were approved by the returning officers (ROs). However, it was noted that she would contest in the general elections from the constituencies determined by the party.

Maryam Nawaz submitted her nomination papers for two National Assembly constituencies (NA-119 and NA-120) and four Punjab Assembly constituencies (PP-159, PP-160, PP-165, and PP-80).
