ICC Delegation to Visit Pakistan Next Week for Champions Trophy Review

The International Cricket Council (ICC) will send a delegation to Pakistan next week to inspect preparations for the upcoming Champions Trophy. The 50-over tournament is set to take place in February and March next year, with Pakistan as the defending champions.

The ICC team, including leaders from various departments, will review the schedule, practice matches, venues, and ticketing arrangements. They will visit three key venues: Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, and National Stadium in Karachi.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has invested Rs 12.80 billion to upgrade these venues for the tournament. The Champions Trophy will run from February 19 to March 9, 2025.

Group A of the tournament will feature Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, while Group B will include Australia, England, Afghanistan, and South Africa.
