The meeting, scheduled for today, is about a letter from the judges of the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

The letter discusses concerns about interference in judicial affairs. Alongside the Prime Minister, Law Minister Nazir Tarar and Attorney General Mansoor Awan are also attending the meeting.

Before this, the Supreme Court held a meeting about the same letter. The letter alleges that spy agencies are interfering with judicial functions.

This meeting led to calls for an investigation into the letter. The six IHC judges who wrote the letter are currently serving and they have asked the Supreme Judicial Council to review the matter.
