In an unexpected twist, Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik has announced his marriage to actor Sana Javed amid swirling rumors of his separation from Indian tennis player Sania Mirza.
The couple shared two images of their wedding attire on Instagram, leaving social media users surprised by the revelation. Following the announcement, Javed promptly changed her name on Instagram to Sana Shoaib Malik.
Speculations about their relationship began when Mirza posted a picture of Malik and Javed on Fahad Mustafa’s show Jeeto Pakistan in March 2023, captioned “Happy Birthday Buddy.”
Mustafa congratulated the couple on his Instagram story, stating “Happiness is all that matters.”
Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza were married in April 2010, with ceremonies held in both Pakistan and India. They welcomed their first child in 2018.
Before marrying Mirza, Malik was previously married to Ayesha Siddiqui, and they divorced in 2010 after eight years of marriage.
Sana Javed, renowned for her role in Ruswai, was previously married to singer Umair Jaswal in 2020.
As of now, neither Shoaib Malik nor Sana Javed has publicly confirmed their separation from their previous spouses.
