In the Nikah case, Judge Majoka said, “If I stay alive, I will decide on Bushra Bibi’s appeal within 10 days.”

Bushra Bibi’s legal team, including Khalid Yusuf Chaudhry and Usman Riaz Gul, appeared in court to submit a written order from the Islamabad High Court.

Usman Riaz Gul requested the court to hear their case the same day, but Judge Majoka assured them that he would decide on Bushra Bibi’s appeal within 10 days if he remained alive. He emphasized that if the other party does not appear, he will still proceed with the hearing and make a decision.

The case, which involves PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, was transferred from Session Judge Shahrukh Arjumand to Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka on June 3. This transfer occurred after objections from Khawar Manika led Judge Arjumand to request the change. Judge Majoka will now hear the appeals against the conviction in the Nikah case.
