Jordan beats Pakistan badly in the second FIFA qualifying match.

In a recent FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifier match, Pakistan was defeated by Jordan.

The match took place at the Amman International Stadium in Jordan. Jordan’s player, Musa Al-Taamari, scored a hat-trick, contributing significantly to Jordan’s victory. The win has moved Jordan to the second place in their group in the Asian qualifiers.

Two Pakistani players, Mohammad Fazal, and Abdullah Iqbal, didn’t play in the match due to an injury and suspension respectively. Pakistan’s journey in these qualifiers has been a mix of wins and losses. They had a great start with a victory against Cambodia but then suffered a loss against Saudi Arabia.

Looking forward, the top two teams from their group will move on to the next round of qualifiers. The other teams will have to play in the qualifiers for the Asian Cup 2027. Despite the loss, Pakistan’s coach, Stephen Constantine, expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance in the previous match against Jordan.
