Earlier this year in May, Juvaria posted a happy video on Instagram announcing her engagement.
For the Shehnai actor, remarrying wasn’t something she had always planned. Her daughter Anzela getting married and starting her own life made Juvaria realize she didn’t want to be alone forever.
“Until then, Anzela was everything to me,” Juvaria said in an interview. She was speaking alongside her friend Shahood Alvi, another actor. “Raising Anzela was my main focus, but after her wedding, I felt ready for a new chapter in my life.”
Taking care of not just her daughter but also her elderly parents kept Juvaria busy and made her put thoughts of remarrying aside. Recently, she met someone at a dinner party who later proposed to her. Juvaria felt torn; she was open to marrying him, but she also had doubts after being single for so long.
“Shahood encouraged me to go for it if things felt right,” she said, reflecting on their long friendship. Speaking warmly about her fiancé, Juvaria added, “He’s a wonderful man.”
