KARACHI: Karachi residents will have to endure more humidity as heavy rain remains elusive. The weather is expected to stay partly cloudy with some humidity on Tuesday.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts drizzle and light rain in the evening or night, which Karachi has already experienced for several days. This might bring a brief break from the heat.
The Met Office recorded a minimum temperature of 29.7°C, and the maximum is expected to be between 34-36°C. Humidity is at 80%, and sea winds are blowing at 21 to 25 kilometers per hour.
Yesterday, the city felt extremely hot, with temperatures feeling like 46°C, according to weather expert Jawad Memon.
Memon also mentioned a rain system developing in the Bay of Bengal, which might affect Sindh between July 24 and 28. If this system impacts Gujarat, India, Karachi could see some showers too.
