The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has lifted the ban on hiring in government departments, ARY News reported.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gundapur directed authorities to lift the hiring ban, and a letter was issued to the Chief Secretary from the Chief Minister’s office.
On March 3, Chief Minister Gundapur had imposed a hiring ban, except for cases already in process with the Public Services Commission.
The Chief Minister has also started investigating recruitments that occurred during the caretaker government’s tenure.
Shortly after taking office, he requested a detailed report on all recruitments from March 1, 2023, to February 29, 2024, to be compiled within a week.
