RAWALPINDI – In a tragic incident on Monday, a man killed his two daughters and severely injured his wife over a marital dispute in the RA Bazaar area of Rawalpindi.

The victims, identified as Anusha (10) and Lareeb (4), were found dead at the scene. Initial investigations indicate that the dispute led the father to commit this heinous act. He also attempted to slit his own wrists after attacking his family.

The suspect, Usman, who works as a technician at a government institution, also severely injured his wife, cutting her vein with a knife. Doctors are currently working to save her life.

Rescue personnel provided immediate first aid to the injured woman and transported her to the hospital. The bodies of the children were taken to the hospital after completing legal formalities, according to a spokesperson from Rescue 1122.

A passerby was also injured during the incident, suffering a cut on his neck. He received first aid on the spot and was transferred to the hospital.

The Rawalpindi police have arrested Usman and are collecting evidence from the scene. The investigation is ongoing, and all aspects of the case are being thoroughly examined.
