Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), announced that his party is not in contact with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He expressed his concerns about the current government’s stability and the legitimacy of the election results that brought it to power.
Rehman also mentioned that the government could fall if the public voices their opinion. He stated that his party will keep a close watch on the government’s actions during their campaign. He believes that there was rigging in the recent elections.
Earlier, Rehman met with the Chinese envoy in Islamabad. They discussed the tragic incident in Besham and other law and order issues. Rehman condemned the suicide attack and called for justice. He expressed solidarity with the Chinese people during this difficult time.
Lastly, Rehman voiced his concerns about the country’s problems. He mentioned the lack of peace and democracy, economic difficulties, and the disturbing law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He stressed the need to address these issues for the country’s betterment.
