The Millat Express train heading to Karachi broke down near Sammasatta because of a problem with one of the cars.
After fixing it (which took about 30 minutes), the train started moving slowly again, but the engine somehow came off the tracks.
Luckily, railroad workers were able to put the engine back on the tracks themselves, and the train continued its journey to Karachi, although it was over an hour late.
While the Millat Express was being fixed, police patrolled the train to keep passengers safe.
Also, at the same station, two passengers on a different train (Allama Iqbal Express) fell off and got hurt. They were luckily okay and received medical attention. They were sitting by the train door because one wasn’t feeling well, and when the train lurched forward they lost their balance and fell.
