New Charges Filed Against Karachi Businesswoman Involved in Karsaz Fatal Car Accident

KARACHI: Another case has been registered against the businesswoman involved in a fatal car accident in Karachi’s Karsaz area, where a man and his daughter lost their lives.

The latest charges were filed at Bahadurabad Police Station after a medico-legal report revealed the presence of drugs in the woman’s system. This new case, with the State as the complainant, includes charges related to drug use, following the discovery of methamphetamine, commonly known as Ice, in her urine samples.

Previously, the businesswoman was charged with murder and attempted murder after her SUV collided with a motorcyclist and his daughter, causing their deaths. The accident occurred when she was reportedly under the influence of methamphetamine. Her SUV overturned after the collision, and she was immediately taken into custody. Blood and urine samples were collected at Karachi’s Jinnah Hospital to confirm drug use.

The earlier charges included murder and attempted murder, but the addition of drug-related offenses has intensified the legal proceedings against her.
