Karachi: In the Sindh Education Department, 6,340 ghost teachers have been discovered. The Director General of Monitoring has sent a summary to the Sindh Education Secretary, recommending the suspension of salaries for these ghost employees.
According to the summary, all these teachers and employees have been receiving salaries while staying at home, with some even continuing to receive benefits despite being retired.
The summary requests the immediate suspension of IDs and salaries for all these ghost employees and calls for disciplinary action against them.
The Sindh Education Secretary has forwarded the summary to the Provincial Education Minister, Syed Sardar Shah, for approval.
