Pakistan and China are improving their big project to help Pakistan develop further.

Pakistan and China have decided to enhance their collaboration on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) by developing new corridors in various areas of development.

This decision came during the Fifth Round of Pakistan-China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue, co-chaired by Ishaq Dar and Wang Yi in Beijing. The new corridors will focus on promoting growth, improving livelihoods, fostering innovation, supporting environmental sustainability, and encouraging open collaboration, all aligned with Pakistan’s development priorities.

During the dialogue, both countries discussed a wide range of bilateral relations and cooperation, covering strategic, economic, political, defense, security, trade, investment, commerce, and cultural exchanges. They reaffirmed their joint commitment to combat terrorism in all forms and rejected any double standards in counter-terrorism efforts. Both sides called for increased international cooperation in countering terrorism.

Pakistan and China also highlighted their ongoing cooperation in energy, banking, finance, and space exploration sectors. They expressed satisfaction with the progress made in these areas and agreed to further enhance their collaboration. The dialogue underscored the strong and multifaceted relationship between Pakistan and China, emphasizing their shared goals of promoting regional stability, economic development, and mutual cooperation.
