Pakistan Announces Playing XI for Second Test Against England

Pakistan has revealed its playing XI for the second Test against England, which will take place in Multan on Tuesday, October 15.

In a strategic decision, Pakistan has opted for a spin-heavy lineup with four spinners and only one fast bowler. The team’s sole pace option is all-rounder Aamir Jamal.

Opening batter Kamran Ghulam returns to the squad, joining three specialist spinners—Sajid Khan, Zahid Mahmood, and Noman Ali.

England’s captain Ben Stokes has been cleared to play after recovering from a hamstring injury, making him part of England’s XI.

Saim Ayub, Abdullah Shafique, Shan Masood (C), Kamran Ghulam, Saud Shakeel (VC), Mohammad Rizwan (WK), Salman Ali Agha, Aamir Jamal, Noman Ali, Sajid Khan, Zahid Mahmood.

Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Ben Stokes (C), Jamie Smith, Brydon Carse, Matt Potts, Jack Leach, Shoaib Bashir.
