ISLAMABAD Pakistan vehemently denounced on Sunday the terrorist incident that took place at the Rask Police Headquarters in southeast Iran, leaving eleven Iranian officials dead and several more injured.
In a press release, the Foreign Office spokesman stated,
“Pakistan stands in full solidarity with the government and brotherly people of Iran in this hour of unspeakable tragedy.”
According to the spokeswoman, they prayed for the injured people’s quick recovery and sent their sincere condolences to the families of the victims. The FO statement also stated that fighting terrorism requires using all available tools, including bilateral and regional cooperation, as it poses a danger to both regional and international peace and security.
