In a significant milestone, the Pakistan cricket team has become the first squad to reach 200 matches in the limited-overs format, securing a notable win against England in their 200th T20 game.
Adding a touch of coincidence, Team Green played their inaugural T20 match against England at Bristol, and now, in their 200th game, they faced off against the same opponent.
As of September, the Men in Green had participated in 199 T20I games, celebrating 121 victories, facing 70 defeats, experiencing two ties, and encountering five no results, leading to an impressive overall winning percentage of 63.14.
Comparatively, Pakistan’s archrival India holds the second position with 181 T20 games, while the Windies stand at third with 171 matches.
To mark this historic achievement, members of the Pakistan team shared their cherished moments from the T20 format in a video released by the official handle of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). This milestone not only reflects the team’s remarkable journey but also highlights their consistent performance in the dynamic world of T20 international cricket.
