Pakistan Railways has responded to the increased demand during the summer vacation by introducing a special train service from Karachi.
This special train, designed to cater to the surge in travelers, commenced its journey today, albeit starting two hours later than scheduled. Despite the delayed departure, the train successfully accommodated more than 1,000 passengers.
The initiative also proved financially beneficial, with the train generating revenue exceeding Rs 4 million on its inaugural trip. This service is set to operate regularly, departing every two days throughout July.
The introduction of this special train service underscores Pakistan Railways’ commitment to meeting the heightened travel needs of passengers during peak holiday periods. By offering this service, Pakistan Railways aims to provide a convenient and cost-effective travel option for families and individuals looking to enjoy their summer vacations.
This initiative reflects Pakistan Railways’ ongoing efforts to enhance its service offerings and ensure a smooth travel experience for passengers across the country during busy holiday seasons.
