Pakistani director Parmesh Adiwal has changed his religion to Islam.

Famous Pakistani Hindu director Parmesh Adiwal recently embraced Islam and shared his Umrah journey in a video from Masjid-i-Nabvi (PBUH) on social media. In the video, Parmesh can be seen standing in prayer before the Rodha of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), accompanied by the background music of Atif Aslam’s Qawwali Tajdar-e-Haram.

Parmesh Adiwal has been a significant contributor to the Pakistani entertainment industry, directing popular projects like “Punjab Nahi Jaungi” and “Ishrat Made In China.” He co-directed “Ishrat Made In China” and made a mark in singing with the OST of the drama serial “Masters.” Additionally, he directed various songs and na’at videos featuring prominent figures like Amjad Sabri, Maya Khan, Sarah Khan, and Urwa Hocane.

According to some media reports, Parmesh chose the name Mohammad after his conversion to Islam. Pakistani actors such as Mohib Mirza, Feroze Khan, Abdullah Muzaffar, and others congratulated him on his social media post, and fans expressed their good wishes.

His directorial work extends to several hit TV commercials, including the iconic ads for Dalda. Parmesh also directed the promotional song for “Punjab Nahi Jaungi,” sung by Farhan Saeed, and the viral hit song “Jitni Punjabi” by Billy X, showcasing his versatility in the industry.
