Pakistani veteran politician Javed Hashmi reports that the Punjab police conducted a raid at his residence in Multan, leading to the arrest of his son-in-law and grandson.

Pakistani veteran politician Javed Hashmi alleges that approximately 20 police officers illegally entered his residence in Makhdoom Rasheed town, Multan, at 1 am, arresting his son-in-law Shahid Bahar, grandson Qasim, and several household workers without presenting any warrants.

Hashmi, a former president of the PTI, had recently withdrawn from the NA-149 election and initiated a movement advocating for the release of imprisoned ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He accuses the Establishment of causing the country’s economic and political challenges and expresses support for Imran Khan in confronting the Establishment.
