Pakistan’s football team is getting some extra help for their upcoming World Cup qualifying matches! They just hired Trishan Patel, a coach who used to live in England but is originally from India.
Patel isn’t the head coach, but he’ll be working with the team to help them get ready for their last two games against Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan. This isn’t Patel’s first time working with Pakistan’s team, he’s been helping them out online before.
He’s got a lot of experience coaching in England, having worked with famous clubs like Liverpool and Luton Town. The Pakistan Football Federation made it official by showing pictures of Patel in the team uniform.
Patel started coaching football in 2006 and has worked with different teams and schools in England. Get ready to see Pakistan play Saudi Arabia on June 6th in Islamabad, and Tajikistan after that!
