Pakistan’s gold prices fell over the weekend, following a worldwide trend.

Over the weekend, Pakistan witnessed a decline in gold prices, aligning with a global trend that influenced precious metal markets.

As of Monday, December 25, 2023, the latest gold rates in Pakistan are as follows:

  1. 24 Karat Gold: Priced at PKR 219,800 per tola.
  2. 22 Karat Gold: Available at PKR 172,739 per 10 grams.
  3. 21 Karat Gold: The rate stands at PKR 190,925 per tola.
  4. 18 Karat Gold: Priced at PKR 163,650 per tola.

The price for one tola of gold in the domestic market experienced a decline of PKR 500, settling at PKR 219,300. Similarly, the 10-gram gold rate decreased by PKR 429, reaching PKR 188,014, as reported by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Contrastingly, the previous day had witnessed a surge in gold prices by PKR 1,800, concluding at PKR 219,800 per tola in Pakistan. However, the international gold rate, despite a $2 decrease, stood at $2,072 per ounce, maintaining a $20 premium, according to APGJSA.

Amidst these fluctuations, silver rates remained unchanged at PKR 2,650 per tola. This information is vital for individuals closely monitoring the precious metals market, especially during times of price variations.
