Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, the Central President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), talked informally with journalists during his appearance in an anti-corruption court in Lahore.
He mentioned that Qaisara Elahi received an impressive 163,926 votes from NA-64 Gujrat, according to Form 45. In comparison, the opposition candidate Salik Hussain secured only 32,312 votes, and the TLP candidate got 17,784 votes.
This gave Qaisara a significant lead of 131,614 votes. Chaudhry Parvez Elahi expressed concern about possible tampering with Form 45, which is issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
He claimed that election results of winning PTI candidates in various regions, including Gujrat, Attock, Talagang, and Mandi Bahauddin, were manipulated. The people of Gujrat are upset about this and plan to hold a historic protest against rigging on Sunday.
Chaudhry Parvez Elahi believes that tampering with the election results is pushing the country towards a severe crisis. He criticized the Election Commission of Pakistan for allocating reserved seats to the PDM, considering it a violation of judiciary decisions on this matter.
Chaudhry Parvez Elahi suggested that the only way to resolve the current crisis is through direct and meaningful dialogue with Imran Khan. He emphasized that without addressing fake cases and ensuring the return of PTI’s original mandate, the government’s reconciliation offer is meaningless. According to Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, Imran Khan is the only person capable of leading the country through these challenging times.
