ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on Thursday that cooperation between the government and various institutions is at an all-time high.
Speaking at an event in Islamabad, PM Shehbaz said, “In my 40 years of political experience, I have never seen such a high level of cooperation between the government and constitutional institutions.”
His comments come as the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) coalition government collaborates closely with institutions, including the military, to address economic and security issues.
Last month, during the 265th Corps Commanders’ Conference, the military pledged continued support for the government’s efforts to boost socioeconomic growth and fight illegal activities that undermine investor confidence and economic stability.
The Prime Minister praised the partnership between Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir and the government, calling it a model for the future.
He stressed the importance of focusing on current social and economic challenges rather than discussing past administrations.
