PM urges teamwork to implement major Pak-Kuwait deals.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with the Kuwaiti Ambassador, Nassar Abdulrahman Jasser Almutairi, to discuss important agreements between Pakistan and Kuwait.

These agreements, valued at $10 billion, cover areas like food security, technology, energy, and more. The Prime Minister stressed the need to quickly put these agreements into action, mentioning a council called the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) that helps attract foreign investment to Pakistan.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz also spoke about the strong friendship between Pakistan and Kuwait and thanked Kuwait for its support during difficult times, including the COVID-19 pandemic. He invited the Amir of Kuwait to visit Pakistan soon to strengthen their relationship further, especially in terms of trade and investment.

The Kuwaiti ambassador expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s support over the years and reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to building closer ties.

Prime Minister Shehbaz commended the ambassador for his efforts in improving relations between the two countries and emphasized the importance of their ongoing collaboration.
