PTI plans to protest across the country on Saturday.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has officially nominated Aslam Iqbal, a former provincial minister, as its candidate for the chief minister position in Punjab.

This announcement was made by PTI leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, indicating PTI’s efforts to strengthen its leadership in the province.

During a media briefing on Thursday, Barrister Gohar also revealed that Salar Khan Kakar will be PTI’s candidate for the chief minister position in Balochistan.

Furthermore, PTI has announced a nationwide peaceful protest scheduled for Saturday. “We will protest peacefully all over Pakistan on Saturday,” Barrister Gohar added.

The leader of the PTI party has announced a peaceful protest to raise awareness about alleged electoral irregularities, specifically the theft of 80 seats, which the party claims has resulted in a fake mandate. The PTI won 180 seats, and they believe no one has the right to form a government with a fake mandate. The leader emphasized that the protest will be peaceful, and he requested that there should be no arrests.

Addressing concerns over power-sharing arrangements, the PTI leader confirmed that they will not engage in any such agreements with the PPP, PML-N, and MQM parties. The PTI leader further reiterated their commitment to public service-oriented politics rather than pursuing power-sharing arrangements.

Additionally, the PTI leader affirmed that Omar Ayub will be the party’s candidate for the prime ministerial position. He also denied any alliance with the Pervez Khattak-led PTI-P.
