LAHORE: The Punjab government has made a huge leap in tax collection, gathering an impressive PKR 518 billion through e-Pay Punjab, with 59 million transactions recorded.
Faisal Yousaf, Chairman of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), shared this exciting news during a recent progress review meeting.
“e-Pay Punjab has transformed the way citizens pay taxes,” Yousaf said. “Now, people can easily pay 84 different taxes and levies from 18 government departments, all while on the go. And we’re not stopping here—more taxes and departments will be added soon.”
Developed by PITB in partnership with the Punjab Finance Department, e-Pay Punjab stands as the first government payment aggregator designed to make life easier for citizens.
