Robyn Bernard, the actress best known for her role as Terry Brock on General Hospital, has passed away at the age of 64.
She died on Tuesday in San Jacinto, California. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department confirmed her death after finding her in an open field behind a business. The cause of her death has not been disclosed.
Born in Gladewater, Texas, on May 26, 1959, Bernard had a passion for performing from a young age. She began singing gospel music with her sister Crystal, who later became famous for her role in the TV show Wings.
Bernard’s acting career took off when she appeared in the popular French film Diva in 1981. She then joined the cast of General Hospital in September 1984, playing the character Terry Brock. She remained on the show until March 1990.
After leaving General Hospital, Bernard continued to act, appearing in French productions like the miniseries Maigret and the feature film Kings for a Day. Her final role was in the 2002 movie Voices from High School, where she portrayed a psychologist.
Bernard is survived by her sisters Crystal and Scarlett, as well as her father Jerry Wayne Bernard.
