Shab-e-Barat was celebrated throughout the country with strong religious feelings.

Shab-e-Barat, a significant night for Muslims filled with reverence and divine blessings, was observed across the country on the night between Sunday and Monday.

This night, also known as the Night of Blessings, is celebrated on the 14th and 15th of Shaa’ban in the Islamic calendar. It holds great importance as a night of forgiveness, and it is believed that destinies for the upcoming year are determined during this time.

Muslims gathered at mosques and homes after the Isha prayer to participate in special prayers that continued until the Fajr prayer. These prayers were dedicated to seeking peace, prosperity, and development for the country, as well as protection for the oppressed in Palestine and Kashmir.

Religious scholars and Ulema, in their sermons, emphasized the true teachings of Islam. Various gatherings and Mahafil-e-Naat (sessions of religious poetry) were organized to commemorate this sacred night.

Homes, streets, and especially mosques were adorned with colorful decorations such as pennants and buntings. Special security measures were implemented to ensure the peaceful observance of Shab-e-Barat across the entire country.
