Sher Afzal Marwat is questioning the rule that stops him from meeting the PTI founder in jail.

PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat is challenging a ban on meetings with the PTI founder in Adiala Jail, citing security threats.

He argues that the provincial home department lacks the authority to impose such a ban and calls for the court to declare it void.

Marwat warns of a parliamentary protest if the ban is not lifted. The ban, imposed for two weeks, also prohibits media coverage near Adiala Jail.

The Adiala Jail administration had designated Tuesday and Thursday for meetings, but the ban interrupts this schedule.

A recent joint operation by the Counter Terrorism Department and police arrested three suspects planning an alleged attack on Adiala Jail.
