Tensions flared in Tel Aviv as large crowds rallied, demanding Netanyahu’s resignation.

In Israel, many people were unhappy with their leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, and wanted him to quit his job.

They were so upset that they went out into the streets in big groups to show their feelings.

These people didn’t agree with how Netanyahu was handling a situation where over a hundred people were being held by a group called Hamas. They were also joined by families who had loved ones being held.

A person who used to be a big deal in the Israeli army said that Netanyahu wasn’t doing a good job and that things would be better if he left.

During the protests, some people got into fights with the police, who tried to control the crowd with things like tear gas and making arrests. The people marching even set up fires along the way as they walked to a busy street in a city called Tel Aviv.

There was also talk about a car hitting people, but no one is sure if that happened. A lot of people, like tens of thousands, have been part of these protests all over Israel, and they want to have a new election to choose their leaders sooner.

The protesters also want peace in a place called Gaza because there’s been a lot of fighting there, and many people, including women and children, have been hurt or lost their lives since last October.
