The Pakistan vs. India match in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be on March 1, according to Indian media citing an ICC Board member.
The match will be at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. All of India’s matches are set to be played in Lahore.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sent the tournament schedule to the ICC, but approval from India’s Cricket Board (BCCI) is still pending. The PCB proposed 15 matches: seven in Lahore, three in Karachi, and five in Rawalpindi.
Group A includes Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand. Group B has England, South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan. All countries have supported the tournament, but the BCCI will decide after consulting with the government.
The Champions Trophy is planned from February 19 to March 9, with March 10 as a reserve day. The PCB has scheduled matches in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, with the final in Lahore. This event will be the first ICC Champions Trophy since 2017 when Pakistan won by beating India.
