The number of Pakistani women in US combat courses doubles in ten years.

A report released on Friday revealed that Pakistan has sent the most female military officers to the US for training over the past two years.

From 2020 to 2023, 55 Pakistani women attended International Military Education and Training (IMET) courses, more than double the 22 who participated between 2013 and 2019.

The report noted that these women were pioneers, eagerly participating in military training and education to advance their careers and pave the way for more women to follow.

The US State Department sponsors this training to build military relationships by funding foreign officers to take part in US military training and education courses.
