The UK representative invites Zayn Malik to visit Pakistan after the success of ‘Tu Hai Kahan’.

Zayn Malik, the famous British pop singer, has been invited to tour Pakistan following the release of his Urdu song in collaboration with the Pakistani band ‘Aur.’ The UK High Commissioner to Pakistan, Jane Marriott, extended the invitation on her social media handle, suggesting it’s time for Zayn to plan a tour of Pakistan.

Known globally for his English songs, Zayn Malik ventured into Urdu singing by teaming up with the Pakistani band ‘Aur’ for a remake of their hit song ‘Tu Hai Kahan.’ The original track has already amassed over 95 million views on YouTube, and the remake is also gaining popularity with more than 3.5 million views.

In an interview with BBC, Zayn Malik expressed his love for the song and shared that he hoped fans would appreciate the collaboration, bringing his unique touch to the rendition. This isn’t Zayn’s first venture into Urdu; he included Urdu lyrics in his track ‘Tightrope’ from the 2021 album ‘Nobody is Listening.’

The collaboration has been a dream come true for Pakistani band Aur, expanding their audience globally. Bandmate Raffey Anwar mentioned the joy of reaching listeners not only in Pakistan but also in the UK, Brazil, China, and beyond.

Zayn Malik, born and raised in Bradford, has Pakistani roots as his father immigrated from Pakistan to the UK. This connection likely played a role in his interest in Urdu music.

Fans are now eager to see if Zayn Malik accepts the invitation to tour Pakistan and witness more collaborations that bridge the musical cultures of the UK and Pakistan.
