Antonio Guterres, the head of the UN, has reported that the situation in Gaza is the worst it has ever been.
He said that over a million people there are suffering from extreme hunger, which is very serious.
He called the conditions in Gaza extremely bad and asked Israel to send more help quickly.
Guterres pointed out that the military actions by Israel in the last six months, which started after an attack, have caused a lot of death and damage in Gaza. He said that reports show more than 107,000 people have died or been hurt because of this, and most of them are women and children.
He talked about how many people’s lives have been completely changed and how the rules that countries are supposed to follow have been broken. He also criticized the group Hamas for starting the attack.
