The visit of the Iranian president has resulted in a public leave being notified in Lahore today.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi embarked on a three-day official visit to Pakistan on Monday, April 22nd.

The visit, concluding on Wednesday, April 24th, signifies a pivotal step towards normalizing relations between the two neighboring nations.

During his stay, President Raisi is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and other high-ranking Pakistani officials.

His itinerary also includes visits to Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab, and Karachi, the country’s largest metropolis.

To ensure smooth travel for the general public during the President’s visit, both Lahore and Karachi have declared public holidays for today, Tuesday, April 23rd.

President Raisi is accompanied by his spouse, a high-level delegation comprising foreign ministers and cabinet members, senior officials, and a significant business delegation.
