This year, the public will have nine holidays for Eidul Fitr.

Eidul Fitr is a special and joyous time for Muslims in Pakistan and around the world.

People eagerly anticipate this celebration, and this year, residents of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are in for a treat with up to nine holidays.

The government in the Middle Eastern state has officially declared Eidul Fitr holidays from April 8 to April 12. The unique thing this year is that the five-day Eid holidays start after the regular weekend and conclude before the second weekend, creating a delightful extended break.

The Eid holidays fall in the middle of two weekends, providing people with an excellent opportunity to enjoy a leisurely nine-day vacation from April 6 to April 14.

As is the tradition in many Gulf nations, people in Pakistan will also have time off from work to celebrate Eid. In 2024, the first day of Eid is expected to be on April 10 or 11. The official Eid holidays will span from April 10 to April 12, followed by the weekend. This means that people can savor a delightful five-day extended Eid holiday to spend quality time with family and friends.

These extended breaks offer a chance for people to relax, unwind, and partake in the festive celebrations that make Eidul Fitr a cherished and joyous occasion. Whether it’s enjoying special meals, sharing gifts, or participating in communal prayers, these holidays provide a wonderful opportunity for people to come together and celebrate the spirit of Eidul Fitr.
