Three attackers were stopped, and a Pakistani soldier lost his life in fights near the Afghan border.

near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, three individuals involved in harmful activities were stopped, and unfortunately, a brave soldier from the Pakistan Army lost his life during these incidents.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first incident took place on a Sunday when security forces noticed three individuals trying to cross the border near Batwar in Bajaur district. These individuals, believed to be engaged in harmful activities, were stopped after an exchange of gunfire. All three were neutralized, and a significant amount of weapons, ammunition, and explosives were found in their possession.

In a separate incident in the night, individuals from Afghanistan targeted a Pakistani border post in Spinwam, North Waziristan district. Pakistani troops responded effectively, causing significant losses to the attackers.

Sadly, Naik Abdul Rauf, a 31-year-old from Rahim Yar Khan district, fought bravely but lost his life during the exchange of gunfire, becoming a martyr.

The ISPR emphasized that Pakistan has consistently urged the Interim Afghan Government to strengthen border management on their side. They stressed that the Afghan Taliban must fulfill their responsibilities to prevent the use of Afghan soil by individuals engaging in harmful activities against Pakistan.
