A recent report showed that not many people are using the new Windows 11 system (less than 26%) even though it came out in 2021.
Most people (over 70%) are still using the older Windows 10, which will stop being fully supported in October 2025.
This is surprising because Microsoft, the company that makes Windows, really wants everyone to switch to Windows 11. Some people who tried Windows 11 weren’t happy with it, but Microsoft didn’t listen to their complaints.
It’s interesting to note that many people skipped Windows 8 entirely (which had less than 10% usage) and went straight from Windows 7 to Windows 10. In the past, people were excited to upgrade to new Windows versions, but it seems like Windows 11 doesn’t offer enough new features to convince people to switch. Even though Microsoft wants everyone to use Windows 11, it doesn’t seem like many people are going to upgrade unless the new system has more to offer.
