WhatsApp offers a lot of features besides just texting, but keeping your information safe is important too.
To help with this, they’ve added a new option called “Hide IP Address” on both iPhones and Android phones.
This hides your phone’s internet address from people you call on WhatsApp, making it harder for hackers to track your location.
Here’s how to turn it on: Open WhatsApp, go to “Settings” then “Privacy settings.” Look for “Advanced” at the bottom and turn on “Hide IP address.”
You can also make your account more secure by enabling two-factor authentication and keeping your app updated.
